Blended Family, Blog, From Her

It’s Been a Long Time..

I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but we haven’t been posting for a very, VERY long time! And we apologize. Here we are with empty promises of giving you videos and content on a weekly basis and alas we’re failing you… and so we apologize.

But… we are BACK!

Here is a little catch up –

If you DIDN’T know – we just moved from California to Middle Tenessee this last May, and we began the process of building a new home in a great community. We are happy to announce that we have finally moved in ! Here’s a little glimpse of the beauty.

We ended up moving in the week of Thanksgiving, having a wonderful time with my step-daughter Taelor! My heart exploded with love when I picked her up from the airport, and broke into pieces when I had to take her back to fly to California..It was so fulfilling to have ALL of our kids together in the same house again..

My father-in-law and sister-in-law were here as well. We were so happy to be able to spend time with them – leaving no time for anything else that would be even remotely as important. Family before blogging! We also had a suprise visit from Will’s brother and his wife and their kids… so needless to say we had a very full house.

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 3 weeks to have the internet installed, so in the meantime – I was getting work done at our local Starbucks.

Between all that we’ve had happening – there hasn’t been time to post, but we’re happy to say that WE ARE BACK! We are literally so excited for this next chapter in our lives, and we’re thrilled to have you tag along with us.

We hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving! How did you spend yours? We were super blessed to have my step-daughters for Thanksgiving, but are sad to see that we won’t have either one for Christmas.

How are you dealing with the Holidays? Are you having to spend the holidays without your kiddos, so that they can love on their mom/dad? We will have a blog to come regarding splitting up holidays… but in the meantime, enjoy your kids and your spouse. Don’t stress about the things you can’t control and give it all to Jesus.

Matthew 6:34The Message (MSG)

34 “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
